    Gomez would win

Pac at 122 is not the fighter that he is today, too much reliance of the power of his left and his super speed, gomez at 122 was far too rounded for him, i see gomez fighting off the back foot to begin with for a few rounds before upping it to stop pac around about round 8.

it wouldn't even be close. wilfredo gomez was an absolute monster at this weight class, as 18-0 18 KO's in title defenses says it all. it would have ended very early, possibly the 2nd or 3rd round.

Mismatch. Gomez was a finely tuned, technically superior destroyer with a mean streak. Pac wasn't the fighter he is now. KO 4.

Pac would start strong like he used to at that weight and Gomez would pick him apart with his skills until one of his right hands catches Pac coming in and ends it around the 5th round.

Gomez by KO at this weight, Manny was far too ragged, Gomez would land at will on Manny at this weight, 126 lbs is a different game tho but 122 is Gomez land.

At this weight, Pacquiao wasn't filled out and still relatively one-dimensional and technically still a little flawed I think. Gomez by KO.

Gomez too well rounded and powerful. He stops Pacman in the 7th.

I think Morales and Barrera give him tough fights though, just like Pintor did. I favor nobody over him though, of course.

At featherweight maybe, but not so much so at superbantam, especially Barrera, who I idolised as a teenager and who is still one of my favourite fighters of all time. MAB became much more well-rounded at feather; the quasi -Chavezesque approach at 122 wouldn't have served him at all well against the assassin that was Mr Gomez.
