Gomez was the perfect 122 lb'er....while Manny was still growing & developing at that stage.
    Gomez wins.

Pac was still too raw at 122. Gomez UD, possibly TKO.

Don't favor anyone over Gomez at 122lbs, Jofre would have the best chance but still slightly favor Gomez. Wilfredo breaks down and stops Pacquiao.

Nobody beats Gomez ar 122....except, as Minotauro said, Eder Jofre possibly.

Gomez was a ko machine at 122 lbs and Pacquiao at this stage
doesn't have the experience or skills to repel Gomez. Add another
victim to Gomez ko streak. Gomez ko late.

Gomez at 122 was as close to unbeatable as anyone's ever been in boxing IMO. Gomez KO 12.

I'd give Jofre and Fenech a chance but no one else.

    Gomez stops Pac-Man late

Pac has a chin on him. One that stood up to shots by full fledged welterweights before.

Gomez is a puncher and a subtle savage. The only time Pac got KTFO was as he was running in, trying to finish a staggered and hurt Marquez. I highly doubt he staggers or hurt Gomez who is levels better in terms of skill. Though how many southpaws had Gomez fought? I think he is forced on to the backfoot more often than not. No running in, I think he can last the distance.

He loses a fairly wide decision.

Gomez by ko in a fast paced shoot out. Pac gets his share in before gomez lands the ko punch.
