    Round 1 Cuarto 10-8
    Round 2 Shigeoka 10-9, close
    Round 3 Shigeoka 10-9
    Round 4 Shigeoka 10-9

Ginjiro has calmed down a little, more jabs to the chin of Cuarto, Cuarto again reduced to lunging like a madman and missing, he throws himself off balance and goes down. Jabs and one twos snapping Cuarto's head back now. Ginjiro landing hard lefts to the gut. Cuarto trying to bumrush his way inside, with little success. More hard lefts raining down from Ginjiro, flush in the chin.

Ginjiro overreaches, Cuarto tags him with a right to the body. Ginjiro returns the favor, with a left to the gut that causes Cuarto to wince. Ginjiro's defense has tightened up, now he's standing in the pocket and slipping shots, and landing in brutal combinations. Hard left upstairs from Ginjiro. Cuarto lunging more and more.

It feels like the sections where they get funky are up for grabs, but Ginjiro dominates that jab when he works it.

Cuarto lands a partially blocked right, he's amping up the pressure. Ginjiro is playing matador better than before. Cuarto tries to hold, Ginjiro punches him in the head twice at close range. Vicious left to the gut, Cuarto winces, the Japanese announcers all simultaneously orgasm. Cuarto is deposited on his backside by a left. Ref gives him a count, Cuarto's corner is screaming it's a slip. A pause in the action. Not sure if he rescinded the knockdown or not.... but I think so.

Ginjiro back to working him with jabs. Cuarto lunges in, grabs Ginjiro in a headlock, and the dirty POS almost DDT'd him. GInjiro has dialed in his straight left, and popped his head back a few times with it. Brutal shot to the gut, now that was a knockdown. Ginjiro staying on him, Cuarto lands an uppercut that backs him off a little.

Cuarto is a pretty durable guy so it would be really impressive if Shigeoka can stop him

Ginjiro much more patnient now, bought that kd, been feinting a bit with the jab too. Very good and well earned the seventh round KD. He just had to blow off all that steam early apparently  a firm, mature approach. Cuarto feeling sorry for himself but fighting hard.
