wilie pep vs salvador sanchez and azumah nelson...

    does the master boxer pep get by these two champions? i see a close one with salvador and a no idea against nelson. thoughts please.

    pep gets clobbered by both sanchez and nelson pep would not be able to keep up with the pace that both sanchez and nelson would deliver from the get go with body shots and numerous head shots via combinations pep would be hitting the showers rather quickly:yep:think

    wow thats a hell of a case against one of the all time greats, pep. but i am objective and respect your opinion.

    you do do you i think pep is overrated who has he beaten who has he defeated to make him an all time great sanchez and nelson fought in a time when the division was full of stars:yep:think

    Sanchez beat Pat Cowdell by split decision. Is Cowdell a better boxer than Pep?
    Pep outboxed Saddler ,who was better than either Sanchez or Azumah ,imo.

    i know that my posts make sense and i am glad to share my boxing insight with you fellow members who are not as familiar with the aspects of boxing and are quick to try and discredit a sound historian as myself:yep:think

    Willie Pep is the greatest boxer in history, his only weakness was punch power but he could slip, slide & turn anyone inside out.... terrific jab, excellent combinations, superb footwork & very very fast too.

    He`d outbox & outwork Sanchez.... for a Pep-Nelson fight just check out Pea-Nelson.

    Outbox, possibly, but outwork? Sal could set one hell of a pace and I don't think I've ever seen a clip of him where he's breathing even remotely hard.
