that's not what I remember. What I remember was leonard slowing down, getting fixed and hagler tagging him.

I'll rewatch the fight if I have time.

They won’t come back for health and safety purposes. I have great respect for those who fought over 15 back in the day without all the modern training and sport science

What about 13 rounds? An uneven number to overthrow draws. Also what about 90 second breaks in between rounds? It allows a 1 minute (approximate) tv commercial without losing any viewing from the fight?

Hey man, you have a point. But what about guys like ray Mancini from a health point of view. Then you have Evander, who fought both in the 12 round and 15 round era. He said his fight with quawi that at Midway through the fight he felt like he was swimming from the coast to the island, and inbetween there he was suddenly tired halfway there. He said had an epiphany to either swim back to the shore or to make it to the island. He said both ways was the same distance. After hearing this, it DEFINITELY separates the men from the boys.

Yes sir, excellent point. That would prevent fighters from "bulking up and coming in well overweigt, as was usually the case with Ricky Hatton.

I say going from 15 rounds too impr 12 rounds was rather a useless decision. It was supposed to impast 3.rove fighter safety, but can you really say that happened? As I recall, research showed that most ring deaths occurred before 12 rounds, and mit seems to me that if a fighter can go 12, he is not likely to be injured in the
