I think he has stagnated badly, as SN fighters do.

He had a good win over Johanneson - and has done nothing since, nearly a year later. Experience on an undercard in the USA would have helped rather than a pointless fight with Estrada......

I personally don't think he has it, but is entertaining to watch and I hope he does well.

I think Cook was drafted in as the typical easy first defence - and with good reason I suppose, having been splattered by Luevano and not doing much of note following that.....

    It wasn't even close though!

Mitchell will probably fight for the vacant wbo interim title but only if a suitable long can be found to play the fall guy, expect it to be either a shot former champion or an unknown with an impressive record!

Yeah - Arthur won and three English judges ripped him off!

How anyone gave it 115-114 to Cook needs to learn how to score a fight.....

    Should have been much wider!

Defintely.......the look on Wayne McCullough's face after the fight said everything about who won

As for Mitchell.....too easy to hit and likes to brawl

Good power and skills, deceptively tough

He ain't ready for it. I doubt he ever will be, he blocks punches with his head. He's a good looking young chap, but he won't be for much longer.

I say give it time and work on defence. We know what he has offensively, he's not bad. Carl Johanneson to world class is an optimistic step to say the least. How about the European guy that destroyed Johanneson?

Funny to watch. But, with defense like that, won't go far.

he should fight linares, linares is over rated and looked **** in his last fight mitchell may have a chance, i'd also favour him to beat the joke that is the current IBF champ, but some 1 like humberto soto and juarez would put a premature end to his career

Is Juarez looking at fighting Cook?

Or was that part of the Amir Khan fighting on the DLH/Pac bill?

a few things here ...ibf rank mitchell in there top 7 ,so it is always an oppertunity that he could fight for that belt.

for the last fight, they tried to khan on the undercard for pacman/de la hoya ,while golden boy were happy to put him on they wanted to do a deal, the deal was that cook would fight juarez in a specified time sclae.warren wasent waning to do that;show you how much confidence he has in his fighter.

mitchell has the ability to beat the ibf champion, i would expect him to fight for the title before the years out. warren needs legit world champions and sky wont left him get away with wbo bull**** no that khan is not top boy.

mitchell has the potential to be a huge name in the uk especially london.

In the recent interview with him that I read, Mitchell said that Baloyi was his target and he sounded very fixed on making it happen in 09 (some sort of obsession with having a strap before he turns 25).

Not sure that will sit well with FWank's plans though. As mentioned, I can see him being kept in wait for when Cook loses the WBO strap.
