Floyd struggled w/ an old ass Oscar, dug deep to beat a faded Cotto, and then he fought a green and drained Canelo. If Golovkin even retains 80% of his power at 154, Floyd is getting slept.

What if Floyd gets clipped? Floyds great but I don't think he'd be able to slip slide and avoid King GiGi's onslaught for 12 rounds

    The only way Kovalev has a chance to be mentioned with Mayweather is if he;

    1. Defeats Ward
    2. Defeats Stevenson
    3. Cleans up the rest of the LHW div
    4. Moves to CW and KOs Lebedev
    5. Moves to HW and beat Haye or Joshua

Now the Krusher can be mentioned with TBE

I can see a couple of scenarios where he might approach it:

    1) If he fights the winner of that fight at their weight within a year or two. He doesn't necessarily need to win as long as he puts up a really good fight and then goes back down and re-asserts dominance @ 160 or 168 whichever he prefers.

    2) If he beats up Canelo and Canelo goes on to achieve some real greatness in the following 5 years. This is much more dependent on Canelo, though. It would help his cause some, imo, if gave up the advantage and took the fight at some Caneloweight bull****.

The clock is ticking, however, and greatness is incumbent upon he who would be great. He's gotta take a risk. Make something happen.

But Floyd didn't say anyone from 154-168, so GGG brought all the criticism on his self. And they're still saying that nonsense. So it's fair game on GGG.

From LHW to Joshua's weight thats like 50-60 pounds at least....
Kovalev is not that good to do something like that, hell no one is, thats not human
BUT if Kovalev somehow does that, Floyd will be FAR behind him, why ?? The size difference would be just incredible

Did Floyd let someone have even 25 pounds over him ??

I would hardly say overrated. Ward professional and amateur background speaks for itself. He's earn his keep. Ward is probably the most decorated fighter Kovalev has faced other than BHOP.

Didnt Floyd fight at LightMiddleweight ? Maybe I'm mistaken but wasnt he a 154lbs champ at one.point?

Or do you mean Floyd never used the word " anyone".

Floyd is a phd in this sport, he s so smart that he knows its stoopid to get in the ring with a monster like GGG

I'm just saying in general, he's never said anyone from 154-168 like GGG has. He only had 3 fights at 154, and one was a CW.. he's never weighed in for a JMW title fight more than 151 pounds.. He's a natural WW.

just last week over at the scene there was a ward interview in which ggg was mentioned and ward noted once again how ggg didnt want any.....you read the comment section and its ggg fanboys complaining "why is ward talking about ggg...here he goes again mentioning ggg"....meanwhile a week earlier sanchez was on the scene talking about how "we'd fight ward at 168 but we dont think he can make it anymore"....a year after telling him "164 but were not interested anyway"......and of course they had no problem or mention of that....thats how sad these people are...you cant make this stuff up

Yep, which is one reason why Golovkin offered to fight Mayweather at 154 and why Roger replied 147.

Irrelevant. Mayweather-Golovkin would NOT be contested at middleweight. And since Golovkin is a career middleweight, and he's old on top of that, doesn't going down to 154 significantly impact his ability to perform?

Floyd ducked, Demo. Deal with it.
