Joshua has one of the worst chins in the sport, Pulev is no banger and is way past it so he should lose easily, but I am convinced at the LEAST we are going to see AJ wobbling about, dazed, running to the safety of the ropes while the ref jumps in and stalls Pulev to give AJ time to recover.
Whereas Pulev is not a traditional puncher, he does have a stiff, hard, punishing jab that stunned Wladiir Klitschko and, in and of itself, stopped Dimentrenko and Ustinov. So it is entirely possible that Joshua might have to swallow a few of them. I do not believe that Joshua's chin is all that bad. Like most punchers, he's rather hit than get hit. He has only ever been down against Klitschko and Ruiz, and considering the level of competition he has faced, that is not bad. Not sure what happened to him in the Ruiz fight, but it was not representative of who he is in there on most nights.
I'm trying to remember, but I recall Pulev being an accumulator of damage from a jab, which just worse down Ustinov, but last time round he was cut and went aggressive effectively.
You missed a word in your thread title buddy: "WHEN will 40 year old Pulev make AJ do the chicken dance?" In my opinion between 1-3 Pulev will land that snake jab on AJ and we will see same dance as per Kovalev vs Ward jab. My prediction is we will see AJ rough house and dance like the Parker fight and may even get a british stoppage per his Takam fight...
If the bodybuilder comes in light like last time, I doubt Pulev even touches him. But you just know with the bodybuilder he's been watching Ronnie Coleman dvds during the lockdown, and he'll come in at 250 again!
No..This fight's already a foregone conclusion. Just get this fight and Fury Wilder III over and done with so we can get to see the fight everyone wants to see.
How can he have the “worst chin in the sport” if he has taken shots that would spark most heavyweights. Your bias is out of control and you clearly have an agenda. He has clearly showed he has a decent enough chin in the Klitschko and Whyte fights but you just ignore that.
When have we ever seen AJ rocked by a jab? If Wlad couldn’t do it then how is Pulev gonna? AJ has a decent chin I don’t know where this myth comes from that his chin is so weak a jab will rock him.
A very good jab and 1-2 but not much else to fall back on at this point? Can he still pull the trigger that quickly? If not, Joshua will eventually run him over once he finds his proper range. Pulev's too straight up and down. Joshua should get through this fight without much problem at all if he fights like how he beat fat Andy.
I see AJ winning against Pulev. His skills are better. AJ may be cautious, after having been KO'd Ruiz, and that means the fight probably goes 12.
AJ living in OP head rent free Pulev has a 20 per cent chance here Lets not kid around, guys here to finally cash out after stinking up the rankings for years
Pulev would be Wilders best win , he’s better then Ortiz and is underated in punching power. His knockout percentage is misleading by the way he wears guys down .
