I think they weren't consistent might be a better term.Greg Page and witherspoon had plenty of skills and power.

BTW you can check out Holmes-Witherspoon.It's one of the greatest heavyweight fights of all time.

He's Training and living in Cork. Apparently there's a good few Cubans there (not all boxers though)

Green has never been KO'd plus he only won 1 round, Tucker was 35-0 and had beaten Douglas, he was actually pretty decent.

they were smaller, a lot scrawnier and a lot less skilled than a Lewis, a Vitali or a Wladimir, still they managed to hold their ground.

    they came in shape sometimes

but then other nights they didnt, they were jsut as inconsistent as they are now

plus a good portion of them were on coke

Winning 1 round and going into survival mode is not holding your ground BTW, Wlad was KO'd by Brewster, a fighter far slower, and less skilled than, Tyson.

Another thing Haye who is nowhere as good Mike Spinks held his ground Wlad. Byrd held his ground with Vitali.

Maybe so, but what does coke have to do with anything? Tyson was on coke too and fought great. Anyway they are miles ahead of Solis, Peter, Arreola, Maskeav, Ibragimov, and Ray Austins of the world.

Why not, it's been proven that a HW of that stature can win a title. It may be a while before someone like a Marciano or Tyson comes along, but I'm willing to bet one will.

I have no doubt if either Klitschko brother and Tyson would have met up when they were in their prime, Tyson would have beaten both of them by KO with their suspect chins. I do think Vitali would have been the tougher fight since he seems more willing to mix it up that Wladimir.

Tyson was just the best of a bunch of crackheads.
When every one is on coke, one of them must be the bast. Just like a bunch bums in a homeless shelter, one bum it tougher than the others, but that doesn't mean he could beat the world heavyweight champion....

Those weights are nowhere near close to average men =(height) with a power..barely 100 kg

Tucker was quite skilled, but Green was very modest in his skills

Damn ANTSU...... Why do you gotta diss my man James Toney. The guy coulda been the GOAT of the CW division. But here is he is at HW ruining his legacy and guys like you are tempting the Klitshckos to destroy him.

Green only won 1 damn round, and he was in survival mode for most of the damn fight.
