Green was so modest in his skills that 1 round i s too much. Also Green was very lightweight taking into account his height

Lamon Brewster and Ross Purrity were also very modest in their skill set.

Hmm. They had good fights with very decent opponent and whats bigger no size advantage...Morrison etc

Green was very limited without good size

Brewster had been schooled by both Ettiene and Shuford before facing Wlad, and lets not even get started on Purrity.

Its certainly possible. Vitali is 40 and wlad is what 36ish? They will retire in a few years.

After they retire it will be a bit of a mess, kind of like post Lewis retirement era with no clear champion.

But there are no other tall guys right now on the level of the klitschkos or lewis

Tyson never had to fight big and skilled specimens like lennox or the klitschkos in his time. Different era , different physical types...Just like Marciano never had to confront a specimen like Tyson...

What is happening in boxing is no different in other sports. In K1 , one of kickboxing's most dominant fighter is a 6 ft 11 and skilled (but boring) guy from dutchland.

You start fealing the difference when the much bigger guy happens to be very skilled.

Dempsey beating Jess Willard (who was about 6'6) wasn't particularly extraordinary when you think about it. It just proved that a solid (and smaller) skilled guy can beat a giant bum.

Dempsey wouldn't annihilate Lennox or the Klitschkos like he did vs Willard. He'd probably even struggled against Valuev...

Recently in mma...Fedor had to deal with a much bigger opponent. (who also happened to be a black belt in Jiujitsu)...He couldn't do much on the ground and got beat up. (maybe he could've finished him in the 2nd round but he had a huge cut so they stopped his fight by TKO)

The same can be applied to the Klits. As for Lewis, who is considered better than the Klits an old Holyfield gave him hell, Bruno gave him hell and Mercer gave him hell. Brewster and Peter were able to truoble Wlad both men are slow and possess very minute skill. There have always been big guys around simply being tall does not guarantee greatness.

None of those guys are very good, Helenius might prove to be decent but the others are either too old, or just flat out suck.

    :? What a hell?

I would never diss JT. He is my idol. He gave me spark to start boxing myself

I don’t think he is ruining his legacy at all. He is one of if not the most successful middleweight ever to campaign in Heavyweights.

A true legend of the sport

    Your a silly man-

    Nielson 6'3 - 259 pounds
    L. Saverese 6'5 244 pounds
    F. Both 6'1 235 pounds
    F. Bruno 6'3 247 pounds
    D. Ruddock 6'3 238 pounds

    Wlad recent opponents-

    D. Haye 6'2 1/2 212 pounds 12 rounds

    S. Peter 6'1 241 pounds 10 rounds

    E. Chambers 6'0 1/2 209 pounds 12 rounds

    R. Chagaev 6'2 224 pounds 9 rounds

    H. Rahaman 6'2 1/3 253 pounds 7 rounds

    T. Thompson 6'5 247 pounds 11 rounds

    S. Ibragimov 6'1 219 pounds 12 rounds

This is peak W. Klitshcko......above are stats for what he has faced and how long it took him to beat them........and now your gonna tell me that he dominates oppostion that Tyson faced?

Wlad has even fought a fighter the calibure of old Larry Holmes yet.

Tony Tucker is equal if not better than Ibragimov, Haye and Byrd.

    T. Tubbs had more talent that Chagaev, Rahman, Peter and Brewster put togeather.

    T. Biggs was an undefeated olympian and far better than C. Brock......Tyson ruined him.

Tubbs was destroyed by Tyson no one ever did that to Tubbs whilst he physically in his prime..years later he would go on to take Bowe to a controversial decision loss.

Tyson was shot, and awful yet took out Botha in 5 rounds, Wlad takes 8 rounds.

Wlad has been put down by D. Williamson.......this man could not hold the shoe lace of T. Berbick.

Ruddock was a far more dangerous fighter than C. Sanders.

    Your outta your league boy.

Lets not even start on Corrie ****ing Sanders....man was a fat 225.....had the skills of a 5 fight amatuer.....speed and power and that disturbed Wlad big time, put Vitali on the floor....yet all of sudden a skilled speed power iron chind monster in Tyson.......cant do the same? Get outta here people

Adamek, Chageav, Byrd, Chambers, Povetkin, Ibragimov, Brewster and others who are mediocre fall below that and have had success, seriously log off.
