Wladimir Klitschko fought Tubbs in sparring in his earlier years and give him a lesson of boxing Ruddock was nowhere near as dangerous as Sanders..ask Lewis Size does matter
I think 6'1 is considered short these days so I guess that's about the equivalent of 5'10-5'11 in the 80's-90's. EDIT: Short for the heavyweight division I mean.
And? That just goes to show if someone is highly skilled they can still be a successful HW when not 6'5.
What difference does it make how long he took to stop them if he won every round. Or would Hopkins get eaten up in previous eras because he doesnt get a lot of knockouts? Hes a cautious fighter, that is why he doesnt get early knockouts.
Wladimir beat the **** out of Shufford years ago and also made Brewster quit in the rematch in just a a few rounds. proving that something was wrong with Wladimir in their first fight..............
A green Purrity fought to a draw with Tommy Morrison, a top ten fighter from the socalled great 90s. A far better Purrity was beat from pillow to post by a green Wladimir...:good
atsch You make excuses for Wlad, than act as if nothing was wrong with Brewster after his fight with Likavich.
It's true dip****, he made a statement saying you have to be 6'3 220 to compete in today's division, I named mediocre fighters who compete in this division, than he tried to make it sound like these guys were amazing. BTW someone who claims that David Haye is faster than Mike Tyson, shouldn't be talking about people posting stupid ****. :yep
Tubbs was his best in the 80s, Wlad getting the best of him 10yrs later doesnt prove anything. Wlad stopping a shell of Mercer is as credible as Kimbo Slice beating Mercer. You know Mercer in his prime was a beast and Wlad would certainly not enjoy the same success he had with a shell of Mercer.
