Will a new star be born in Gamboa if he beats/KO Rios impressively?

If Gamboa were to beat Rios he would be eligible for sainthood because it will be a bonafide miracle.

That would be more of a praise then anything

Only a god may move up 2 divisions and destroy the Great Rios... **** it may very well be, as it would be an amazing feat granted Rios comes in healthy...

When the last time someone did something like that? PAC DLH was bull**** because DLH was a ghost of himself and rapes himself on the scaled, RIOS is a prime time killing machine right now with a condition coach to help him.. So Big big praise he will be getting IMO.

I have been watching Gamboa's bouts over and over again. Unless Gamboa can tighten up his punches and not come in so wide open and squared off Rios will bust him up and knock him out. This bout is going to look alot like Rios vs Acosta and Rios vs Petterson.

yup, I think he's gonna do it. he's just too talented and naturally gifted athletically. if his chin doesn't let him down he's going to be impressive vs Rios. I pegged him as future top p4p guy since his early pro fights and stick by that, he's got that special quality to him that you only see in great fighters.

People are acting like Rios is nothing now... dude was a zombie at the weigh-in. If he gets in the right weight class he'll be wrecking fools again.

Guy is a limited slugger, entertaining but will never be an elite fighter, just another over hyped Maidana who will pull out a few upsets in his career.

Maidana is pretty damn elite. You're talking about HBO headlining fighters. Maybe not ATG, but they're still at the top of their profession. Rios will get back on his horse and have some great fights, dude was just trying to make a weight that he will never see again and we saw the effects of that. It happens. Doesn't mean he turned into a bum overnight.

Rios-Maidana needs to happen. I don't think its a fight BamBam can win but moving up was going to be an uphill battle anyway.
