I rank him Top25 already, if he does that t, I´d put him Top20 for sure. Perhaps even Top15 but that´d be a stretch because he still would lack in resume to the guys I have there. He´d clearly be the best since Leonard though - right now I still have Whitaker slightly above him.

Hes already knocking on the door of the premiership now. I rate him in top 30. a win over floyd would put him in top 10 IMO

Nah, sorry, as great as he is, and I´m a big fan, it´s not enough. There are too many fighters with deep resumes, Pac just lacks too much there. Not his fault, he does what he can.

If he beats Mayweather he rises up in the top 25 fighters i've already ranked. If he beats Martinez above 154 pounds.... top 20 for sure.

If he beats floyd then i'd put him above pea in the top 15 region. His resume might thing compared to other greats but contextually he'll have been "the man" from flyweight to welterweight. That more than makes up for a shortfall in resume considering the 11-20 crowd.

If he beats martinez at middleweight i'm putting him top 5. Considering his era the only missing names so far are ayala, guzman and soto. But he was busy fighting mab, morales and jmm so I can forgive that. This is a guy fighting from flyweight up. If he takes that up to the middleweight division it's as good a legacy as anyone imo.

Floyd is 34 years old already , cherrypicking for years , avoided Tszyu , Cotto & Williams himself , never convinced against Castillo in 2 opportunities , failed even to impress vs Judah @ 147 , and Judah was never a real 147 .
A win over Floyd will not convince me a lot although it won't happen as Floyd avoids Pacquiao and will continue to do so as he doesn't seem to have financial problems.
Pacquiao won against a drained Cotto @ 145 , and it was Cotto's last fight below 154 , same for his win over DLH .
His win against Mosley is meaningless of course .
Paul Williams would have whooped both Floyd @ Pacquiao @ 147 or above.
Pacquiao was never the man @ 147 , 154 and probably @ other weights too ,
neither was Floyd @ most of his weights.

I can understand a top 20 ranking for Pacquiao , sometimes I rank him top 20 myself , but my arguments above will hold forever .
A win over Martinez @ 158 or above might convince me to rank him top 15.
If it will be @ the full 160 and convincingly and not just a paper victory then I will rank him top 15 for sure , maybe even top 10.

For real. When he fought solis who was unranked (as far as i'm aware) guzman was top 5.

Manny is younger and more active, while Floyd is bigger. Unless there's a stoppage, I don't see either gaining much mileage from the outcome. Yes, it's a match-up boxing desperately needs, but the shelf life has to be nearing an expiration date.

If Pacquaio were to beat Mayweather, I would place him in the top ten of all time.

I not sure it will shake up the ratings on my list.

He still be below the likes of Ross, Armstrong, Robinson, Fitz, Greb, Walker, Pep, Gans, B Leoard, Tony Caniz, and a few others imo.

He's already in my top 10. A victory over Mayweather(IF it happens soon) would move him into the top 5, Only certainly below Robinson, Ali and Armstrong.
