**WARM should be WARN. Sorry for the typo.

Just wondering, I watched Peter/Toney 1 and 2 again and this guy seriously sees someone turn their head abnd purposefully AIMS at the back of their head and hits them. He would WAIT for Fat Toney to do a roll or duck and try to hit him behind the head. Will he ever be warned or disqualified for this?

Hell yeah..He is sloppy as ****..and I did seem him go for the back of the head in both fights..First fight mainly...You cant just punch..lol...you have to have a clear target..There are rules in boxing..you cant just go in there and bomb away without being responsible...Ref should of threatened a DQ and then you will see that dangerous **** stop.

Toney dips his head down, and turns his head away to dodge. With Sam Peter having such slow reflexes, he frequently hit the back of the head.
I don't think it's an intentional foul, it's just a lack of skill.

He did the same vs. Wlad who hasn't such defensive skills as Toney...

Wlad was turning his back to him in the first half of the fight because he was afraid of Peter's slopy punches before he gassed.

Can I fight with my opponent facing my back so he does not have a clear shot at me. Why even bother facing someone he will just hit me in the back a few times and it would be over and me declared winner by DQ.

I don't think Peter goes in there with the game plan of hitting people in the back of their head.
I think Peter just throws punches, and he's not a very good boxer.

So, is the rabbit punching intentional...no.
    Is is still a foul...yes.

Does Peter throw rabbit punches yeah I would say so, but when you turn your head or put you head down your asking to get blasted in back of the head, thats why refs dont say anything to him about it. Plus every fighter uses a illegal tactic when fighting, leaning on the neck and back wlad/lewis,tyson using his elbow with hooks, and holyfield he always comes inside head first, the list goes on. The first thing the ref tells you in the ring is to protect yourself at all times, its a fight not a dancing lesson.

Peter throws rabbit punches. But it should be just as illegal to turn your back in the fight intentionally to avoid getting hit. To many ways of moving without doing that. At least half the rabbit punches he hit Wlad Klitscho with were because he turned his back to avoid a punch.

You'd have to be in desperate need of cataract surgery (and apparently several Klitschko nuthuggers here are) if you didn't notice the fact that Wlad was blatantly turning his back to Peter in the early rounds of their fight.

And I personally don't believe that Peter intentionally throws the majority of the rabbit punches that he dishes out. I think that he lands a good number of them due to his horrid technique.

I dont understand why its ok for wlad to lean on his neck and back, and turn his back when getting hit. Its a fight get over it, every fighter fouls in the ring in some way.

Holding is illegal, that's why it's broken up...it's boxing not wrestling. Any fighter who hits while being clinched is okay with me. Holding is a poorer excuse for defense, than you claim Peter's "behind the head punches" are for offense.

How selective of you to have a problem with the response to an illegal act...but have no problem with the illegal act that required a "dirty" response. You've got no problem with a fighter turning their back or holding, but don't hit a fighter while he's breaking the rules...

If you open your eyes and concentrate you'll notice that everytime Peter steps forward to throw his own bombs Toney would lean with his head down and he WELCOMES the punches behind the head. The first round of the rematch, Peter lands and rocks Toney, instantly Toney ducks with his head down as Peter rushes to finish him and gets nailed there and instantly the referee breaks and Toney complains about it. It looks to me that Toney is the one using such tactic whenever he's in trouble.

Toney been bobbing his head for years...sounds kind of dumb you are allowed to move your head and bob and weave..or did you forget that :nut:nut:patsch but if somebody bobs you have to wait for them to come back up to throw..like any other fighter has to..if somebody is bobbing and weaving guys can hit them in the back of the head if they want to do it...they do not...b/c they are trained to throw clean punches when there is an opening..Its called timing..Boxing is not the ****ing UFC.. you can move your head as much as you want but in no damned way did Toney lung with the back of his head towards peters fist....Funny how other fighters did not have that problem with toney...:-:)-:)huh
