That depends on your definition of elite!

He is elite. Pavlik is B+ at best to these guys. If AA loses to Pavlik, he will be demoted but Pavlik will remain the same in their eyes. Get up to speed on this.

You don't really use the "poor man's" term for that. They are not nearly similar enough.

Just last week your boy booradley called AA a clown, this week he's considered elite. Which one of you are wrong and which one is it?

This is a 'pond' issue. THAT side of the pond considers AA "elite" and Pavlik b+ at best. If Pavlik beats AA then they will say AA is be a B and Pavlik will still be B+ to them.

To be an elite fighter, you have at least to beat one.
IMO AA is no elite fighter yet and even if he beats Pavlik, he still is no elite fighter bc there is no elite fighter at 160 - the one who was is gone in B-Hop.
Evene at 168 there is no elite fighter - if the top guys would start to fight each other, maybe one or two elite fighters would emerge out of it.

So AA has to fight some highly regarded boxers to make his way to the A-Level...as of now, AA is B and Pavlik too (as he clearly lost to B-Hop, he was degraded from B+ to B)...

that is a very good point and i agree with you but the only reason i place them both as elite because of the lack top fighters in there division
leaving them miles ahead of the other 160 pounders

if both steo up to 168 it will tell alot about them

but what can they do because surley you would not state any of the 168 fighters as being elite
kessler has not beaten an elite fighter and he is the top dogg

That's why I am saying that the top dogs at 168 (then maybe including Pavlik and AA) have to fight each other and some might emerge as being called elite.

You can't be called elite, only b/c you lack competition in your division. You have to either beat guys that are considered a big threat to you or step up to beat the divisional champs above you.

You have to earn your ranking, point.
