http://boxingpromos.blogspot.com/2011/05/abraham-promises-for-second-time-to.html Continued here /\ /\ Would be great if he did
he definitely shoudl try, if he fights the same like vs froch he will get shot out, just go all out and throw everything at the guy, abraham always starts slow though, so he will be down big time after 5 rounds and then need the ko, why not search it from the beginning.
he is a fool if he does, he only make himself more predictable than he already is.. Abraham didn't lose the fight because he was not aggressive enough, he was beaten because he was so dame predictable ..
Time Ward as he moves in, that's what he should do, then use every trick from the book Andre doesn't mind using to make it a physical fight and try to land hard shots on the inside. Abraham is stronger and should give Ward a large dose of his own medicine. I don't think Andre's chin is perfect, so if he can get to that chin, he must go for it. I just don't see Ward allowing it.
I don't know if he should swing for the fences right from the opening bell but he clearly needs to push for a ko early. Abraham isn't going to beat Ward on points he is going to need a ko. He is going to be at his best early and the longer the fight goes on the more his power drops. He should try to get to Ward early, either a ko or a big shot that changes the fight.
do you mean by "would" -- i.e. "in alternative universe"? For example: "In an alternative universe, Arthur Abraham would put Ward on ***** street."
There are no alternative universes in boxing. There are favorites and underdogs, and then there's the bell. Anything can happen once it sounds.
I cant see Abraham being anymore predictable than lumbering forward not throwing. At least Ward will present a greater opportunity than Froch or Dirrell did at opening up and trading, problem is he has no inside game as well, he simply tries to fight exclusively at mid-range, Ward will either be popping him with flurries from the outside or bullying him on the inside. AA's only real chance is too catch Ward when he's working his way to the inside. Can AA do that???... definately... Will he do that???... cant see it myself, he has no confidence in himself left.:good
I don't see Abraham winning this fight unless he lands something big... which I also don't see happening. Ward's not a big puncher so if I was AA I would pressure Ward, try and cut off the ring and throw combinations at Ward against the ropes.... I just thing anything Abraham trys, Ward will nulify with his speed and quickness. Ward wins in a boring UD.
I doubt he will.He said the same thing against Froch and as soon as Froch started to throw a few shots Abraham went into is usual shell.
Abraham cant counter for **** thats why. Ive got so fed up of hoping that Abraham changes things up and tries something new. He's just so stuck in his ways. Will be praying that he beats Ward though, sick of that guy already.
