He has to realise if he loses again, especially another one sided loss not only is he out of the tourny but he will relegated to gate keeper status. So maybe he will have more fire against Ward, fire born out of desparation.

I don't think so. He should have been desperate against Froch, and we saw the result.

AA loses, goes on to take the WBO SMW belt from Stieglitz and keep it in Germany. My prediction.

Ward's gameplan and smarts will be too good for Abraham, who only knows how to fight one way. If Dirrell and Froch can do it, Ward can too.

He'l fight Ward, lose again & then head back to 160lbs where he's more effective.

Can Abraham still make 160 lbs?

    Will Abraham-Ward be in Oakland?

Will Ward get his hometown judges & referee friend to work the fight?! :D

If ward fights within his athletic and skill set ability I see no reason why he would need any homecooking...having said that..if ward goes head to head with AA..as he has with recent opponents..a upset would then be possible...but Ward seems like a smart guy...and i dont see that happening.

Abraham had every opportunity in the world to try to bang it out and go balls to the walls against Froch and he never did it. He doesn't seem to have another gear. He just fights the way he fights and that's what you get. Ward is going to shut him down all the same.

I think Abraham has already indicated he plans to go back to 160. So he already has his 'excuse' to not win. Not a good sign if we are expecting him to adjust or try harder in the super 6.

Abraham is too small for the SMW division. He is going up against a bigger, stronger foe in Andre Ward - who can also outbox him if he chooses to do so. The forecast doesn't look good for AA. Still, Abraham has the power to KO anyone even at SMW so anything is possible.

    Yeah, I can see that.

...AA did try & get at Froch, only the silky smooth skills of the Cobra kept the dynamite Smurf at bay.

    who knows...but he will lose.

he'll try to make 160 and get sick and lose in his next fight there too.

remember one time where he had to cancel the fight because he made himself sick cutting weight?

    I seriously doubt it.

He said he'd start fast against Dirrell. He didn't. After getting his ass handed to him for not doing anything for most of that fight, he did the exact same thing against Froch.

Ward is going to frustrate the hell out of Abraham. He has no inside fighting game whatsoever and Ward will smoother him and/or stay on the outside and have him hitting air with his wild haymakers.
