Will Abraham fight with more desparation vs Ward?

He will shock the world and eliminate Ward with a stunning KO.

Ward fights nothing like Froch, King Arthur will have way more changes, to land his big shots.

 

If Froch was able to force him to go off-balance after every attempt then Ward sure as hell will and Abraham will be lost.

 

Abraham, with rare excetpion, has fought the exact same way for his entire career. Give him some height, reach, and work rate, and he is toast.

 

Call me crazy but I actually think that Abraham will make it closer with Ward than it was with Froch and that's mainly because Ward probably won't be as busy from the outside as Froch was and he doesn't have the chimpanze reach that Carl has.

 

AA knows this is it, so I expect a closer fight than most predict, and an AA W is not out of the realm..

I don't think he will. Abraham is a desperate case. At this point of his career and age, I don't think he can ever change. He must restart learning boxing from the start and completely change his style if he wants to have a chance. He needs to focus more on his mental issues and fears so he can have a normal workrate.

Abraham's best course of action would be to drop back to 160, force a fight with Sylvester, stay in Germany, and run his mouth about fighting the real champ. That sort of thing worked for him before. I'm sure Sauerland can make it work again.

 

Ward will only fight in his home town with his personal referee, judges, etc. Ward will have a hard time head butting Abraham, so he will use other illegal tactics as usual. Ward's referee has already declared head butts for Ward as legal, others? Illegal!
