I liked Karmazin for Taylor, instead of Spinks, after he had picked up a couple of wins at 160, but since then Karmazin was knocked out at 154. Now he has the win vs McKart, but Branco is pretty faded, and Karmazin is notoriously easy to hit. I like Karmazin's attitude, and I think he was a very good fighter, but he lacks the recognition in Germany that Oral has, and he would be too open to getting hit.

There is only one fight the fight fans wanted to see at 160, and that's AA-Pav. We can talk about both fighters comp until we are blue in the face, but the fact is there is only one super fight at 160 right now, and guess who does not want it, and has not been wanting it for a while now lol, you guessed it, Kelly Pavlik. AA, go to 168. Pav will have no choice but to chase you there...lol

Hes going the Joe Calzaghe route of mathcmaking ORals and tucker Pudwills. But in Joes defenc he did at least win his title against a former world champ(who took the fight at 2 weeks notice) and at least faced 7 world champs in 20 title defences.

Abraham is taking the word conman to a whole new level. He has never even beaten a world champion!! and hes made 8+ defences.

His reputation is based on the KO of Miranda whos legs had been previously knocked out of him by Pavlik.

I betting Abraham matches Sven Ottkes titles reign.

Wilfried Sauerland is convinced that undefeated IBF Middleweight Champion King Arthur Abraham will not have any problems to make the weight for his 10th title defense. The 29-year-old (29-0, 23 KOs) takes on Mahir Oral (25-1, 10 KOs) in Berlin´s Max-Schmeling-Halle on Saturday night. Prior to his last fights, Abraham was forced to lose a lot of pounds during the week of the fight but not this time out. I was a little worried that Arthur could face some problems again, Sauerland said. But he has really watched his weight and he is already close to the limit. I am sure he will make a great fight on Saturday.

Abraham confirmed he was in perfect shape. I have started to lose weight one month ago so I feel very good right now, the champion stated. Everything has gone according to plan. I will please my fans on Saturday.
