Lou, try to get tickets for the Adamek McBride fight. I'll be going (as usual) & maybe we can hook up at The Pru Center!

Lucky *******, I haven't seen Adamek since he was last in Chicago. Hopefully I'll be in Poland for the Klitschko fight though.

No, Adamek is going to get killed if this fight happens. And I'm a big Adamek fan.

Tomasz doesn't have the skill set or physical attributes to bother Vitali, even an aging Vitali.

I think Vitali is already clearly not what he was. However, he still beats Adamek.

He's fast and aggressive, two things that give anyone trouble.

Tomasz is a badass, I have nothing but respect for him. The one thing we all know about this fight is that Adamek will make it, no matter what. He doesn't duck or avoid anybody. You have to respect that.

That said, he isn't long enough or tall enough, and he doesn't hit hard enough to bother Vitali, IMO.

It's easy to say Vitali is fading. And he is, he is almost 40. But he can still throw 70 punches/round, he's still 6'7"+ and he is still hard to find for shorter fighters. And, he still has an iron chin.

I hope Tomasz gets this fight because he deserves it. But Adamek doesn't have the same chin as a heavyweight that he did as a light heavyweight and as a cruiserweight. I just don't like this match-up for him, even though it would be a good payday for him.

Tomasz isn't super lanky, but he is 6'2. That's not exactly tiny, he'll come in taller than a lot of the Klitschko's recent opponents and is a better boxer/fighter to boot.

Best of luck to Tomasz and his fans. I'm not here to ruin anyone's hopes. It would be great if the fight gets made. :good

Adamek has a better chance than most might think. Vitali, while still tough, is on the decline and one thing that will give him trouble is speed and movement and Adamek has the advantage there. I think Adamek puts up a good fight early but Vitali will eventually get to him.I don't think Adamek has the strength to deal with Vitali for 12 rounds. Arreola was imposing himself at times and Vitali is a more physical fighter than Arreola. I think its a good and fairly competitive fight until Vitali starts catching up with and stopping him in the second half of the fight.

:D I don't favor Tomasz but I think he has a legit chance, best out of anyone in a long while. PLus the fight'll be in Poland, you know the crowd is going to be insane in backing him.

That would be an awesome scene. Hell, the fights for Adamek in Jersey are great, with the Polish fans. That fight will make HUGE $$$ in Poland. Which is another reason it will probably happen. Both fighters want a piece of that payout.

The fight is pretty much already signed off, he just needs to beat McBride (not a problem) and then the Klits will let him know who he's fighting. There's a brand new soccer stadium in Wrocław that it'll be in.

Haye would potshot against Vitali and avoid trading. From what it seemed Solis tried a similar "elusive" approach for the 2.5 minutes he lasted. Adamek won't be potshotting neither will he back off if Vitali comes in swinging.

Adamek may get raped but if he does so in style then he will deserve respect. There's a decent chance we could see see a toe-to-toe war for at least a few good rounds.
