No one is ducking anyone here. It just seems that they want to do different things right now. I believe they will fight down the road.

Wow you really have me thinking you're a child now. Chad. badass? You must be ****ing kidding me. I'll assume youre still in joke mode and forget you said that. Go to youtube look up Adrian Diaconu. theres quite a few fights of him some partial some full. If you think Chad is badass you will bow down to Diaconu and realize why Dawson would be so afraid...

check out the Diaconu-Henry highlights, the destruction of Rico Hoye, the James Crawford fight is hilarious yet brutal at the same time. After this you'll realize how Dawson punches for points and how Diaconu punches to ****ing kill you:fire A warrior he is friend

OK, maybe its my American bias talking but I think Dawson can handle anyone in the division.

I'll be happy that the fight is finally on but respect him? NO
Why well think about from a fighters perspective for a moment.....Diaconu was strung along for close to a year, which means constant training, trying to keep weight low, that **** can be torture and when it finally came time for Dawson to man up he cowered under a blanket called Showtime.
So again if the fight happens I'll be pleased, put all my money on Adi as I'm sure he'll be the underdog and then watch the destruction of the biggest china chin in the sport....and yes there will be blood:fire

I just seen this guy on youtube and yes he has power but lunges in too much. He is a good pressure fighter but Dawson already faced a better pressure fighter in Glenn Johnson. I think Dawson outboxes this guy to a UD.

    You are being biased(not good)
I'm american but I just like good fighters of all different styles and Diaconu happens to be a very exciting, punishing, balls to the wall fighter. He has a superior sense of timing and distance, his punches are extremely accurate and extremely powerful, he has a granite chin, and the sweetest double left hook in the sport.
After the first round in the Hoye fight I couldnt help but feel scared for the poor *******. Not many fighters make you feel afraid for their opponent after only one round:deal

Well you say Dawson can handle him,I think he can outbox a UD too but we'll never find out if he keeps avoiding him

lets set bias aside for a moment....lets make a simple equation
Dawson is fairly easy to hit
Diaconu is extremely accurate and much more powerful than Johnson(or anyone Dawson has faced)
Dawson is the quicker man thats about it
Superior timing will always kill speed....and in this case timing is represented by Diaconu and speed by Dawson
Point is Diaconu gets to Dawson with relative ease and thats all there is to it....Dawsons chin shatters after a few flush shots from Diaconu.
You could be right about Dawson fighting Diaconu at some point later but until that day Dawson is nothing more than a coward and a thief(Johnson won by 2 points easily)

Accurate but wide with his punches. I can see Chad outboxing him to a UD. Oh yeah if you thought Johnson won you are crazy. Chad easily grabbed the first four rounds.

    How does Dawson handle Diaconu?
The thing is Dawson is an old hat for Diaconu stylewise, he's dealt with it his entire career. Tall fast, rangy fighters with a good jab...been there done that for Diaconu.
If anything because of his short height Diaconu is the harder fighter to hit cleanly.
Fact is Diaconu can take anything Dawson throws at him and keep coming
Dawson was out on his feet against Johnson who isnt nearly as powerful as Diaconu nor as accurate. If they do ever fight don't expect it to last more than 4 or 5 rounds, Adi is pissed:fire

He rarely uses wide punches now, only when his opponent is hurt, but if Chad keeps avoiding we cant know if he can beat him.I had Chad vs Glen draw live, after I watched it again I scored it 7-5 in rounds for Chad but it was damn close.

Chad but that is irrelevant.Tarver is a better boxer than Adrain but at this point Adrian can take him,he is too old,I think Chad can even stop him.Anyway mosr of you guys don't give Diaconu credit for his boxing skills,he has good skills but he is short and doesn't have a big reach so he can't use them

No many thought Johnson won that fight. If you rewatch the fight you realize just how many punches Johnson blocked....and it's a shitload, 2 points for Johnson easy
Diaconu wide with his punches maybe a little but you have to consider there not "Abraham" wide, as Adi moves, dips, ducks, his fists merely follow and gets every last ounce of body weight into his punches, sort of like Tyson on the attack:yep
