Not everyone is a fan of AJ and I was just wondering will he start getting your respect if he wins tonight?

I can answer that straight away

Not a chance with some posters on here

For a British Boxing Forum the amount of bitter comments I read about almost every British boxer on here, or promoter or trainer is incredible

There's definitely a group (or else same poster with lots of user names)who seem to want anyone British to fail

Never realised boxing was such a bitter and twisted sport

Maybe it's not but it seems to be on here for some reason?

It's like people are jealous of any guy involved in British boxing at any level or role having any kind of success?

I don't get why this is such a big fight at all... I've seen Whyte, and I wasn't impressed to say the least.
The only 2 things that this fight has going for it, is that Whyte beat Joshi in the ams and might test his chin, but as far as prospect value goes they're miles apart.

For me this is just a test for Joshi, a next step up to see if he really has what it takes and move on from there.

Its not a big fight, its being billed as a big fight to swell eddies deep pockets even further, that is all.. Ill not be buying it

tho there is an opinion Whyte may surprise a few

a PPV fight for a domestic dust up? whatever next, all British title fights r now PPV?

Not at all. He needs to start fighting decent quality opponents. He was great potential but this PPV is an absolute joke.

Sky building it up to be a 50/50 when it's more a 97/3

Why does PPV upset so many people

If you don't think the fights are worth 14.95 or whatever it is then don't pay it - simple as that

And don't have sky full stop

I'm working tonight but if I wasn't I wouldn't hesitate to pay to watch this

    Eubank, Campbell and Joshua

Cost me 75 quid ish for ticket for last Joshua show, 20 quid for coach there and back (which was cheap) and about 50 quid on drinks and food

    It's all relative

Take your femi poster off the wall and put your femi pjs back in the draw.

Suppose you think femi vs wlad and fury at the same time is 80-20 in favour of femi?

If the police in Britain done their jobs properly, there wouldn't be any Joshua

Because we want boxing to get as much mainstream attention and fans as possible yet wee hide our main events away from the gaze of new fans.
Because PPV doesn't exist for any other sport.
Because boxing fans pay Sky subscriptions like any other sports fans who get to watch premier events on their normal subscription.
Because we wont to watch all the boxing that is covered but are made to pay even more to watch them.

What is your point about how much it cost you to watch the last Joshua fight? who was comparing attending an event to watching it on telly before you?

You also don't know other people's financial situations so don't pass comment on how cheap or otherwise it is to your average person.

In answer to the original question- any boxer that has the ***** to step in a ring has my respect- unlike most on here who ridicule boxers and wouldn't have the guts to enter a ring.

However, my opinion of him as a fighter wont change as I am not impressed by Whyte and AJ should walk through him easy.

agree with the first paragraph, Joshua is a pro boxer and has my respect as I wasn't good enough to turn pro.
I hope he goes all the way as I like the way he boxes and carries himself as an ambassador for boxing

    Wrestling is pay per view

Sky sports full stop is pay per view

Fact is anyone who is moaning about pay per view on sky must be paying far more than pay per view price to have sky in first place

And tbh the people on here who moan about PPV are saying it's a an awful bill and awful fights and so not sure why they want to watch it anyway

I don't think it's the cost on here that's causing all the complaints

I think most just want something to complain about be that Joshua, Eubank, eddie hearn etc

That's my honest opinion from what I see on here

Fact is those who are excited by the bill bought tickets and sold it out in super quick time -plenty of them

Next stage down you have those who will pay for PPV because they think it's good value - plenty of them

Then there are those who don't like the bill or eddie or Joshua etc

Simple - don't pay for it and ignore it

If it's as bad as they say it is why would they want mainstream TV showing it anyway?

No because let's face it, White is dog****. He's barely a step up from Gary Cornish.

This fights a farce. Joshua will blow him out in 2 rounds, the casuals will start masturbating furiously and insisting he's going to KO Wlad, Fury, Povetkin etc without realising sparking out a bum like White proves absolutely nothing.

He should be fighting a fringe-world level fighter like Chisora or at least, someone on the level of Christian Hammer now. Not bums with padded records.

It's the only sport where you can call yourself among the best in the world and not really be any good at it! It's certainly a 'special' sport in that light. :hey Some people can see through the bs. Others can't. It seems you fall into the latter category.
