No way should Usyk step aside, NO WAY. Just think how long he will have to wait, at best he could be waiting until early 2022.

That's ridiculous and who knows, the winner of AJ Vs Fury might scatter the belts, they might not want all those mandatory fights and the hassle, they will be regarded as the man who beat the man and all that, so belts won't mean as much.

So Usyk could sit there for 18 months waiting and end up missing out on an AJ or Fury payday on PPV and fighting somebody with no pulling power whatsoever.

Usyk has to force it, he has to insist he gets his shot.

Joshua isn’t ducking Fury. He isn’t protected either. Ridiculous take.

As much as I’d like to see AJ become undisputed, I think he should drop the belt. Fury is seen as the top dog in the division right now and i think AJ should fight him before any hype goes down. This is the fight to be made and the sooner the better, we don’t want another AJ vs wilder situation where so many fans just became disinterested. Also If AJ loses he wouldn’t even be undisputed and if he wins he can get the missing belt whenever he wants

I think deep down, all parties involved know it is a good idea, not only because it paves the way for Fury-Joshua, but because it builds the winner of Usyk-Dubois, Usyk-Joyce, or Usyk-Parker to be a credible opponent.

Let's be honest that after Joshua-Fury, there is nothing big on the horizon.

Despite not really doing anything at HW? He deserves a shot despite not really proving himself at all at this level?

How is he entitled to a shot more than AJ is of an undisputed fight?

Lets just say USYK does push his shot and forced AJ to vacate his belt.

    1. This will make him, likely, very unpopular, as it will stop the AJ/Fury fight being undisputed. So if he cares about fan respect, then he should avoid this.

    2. No one is going to see him as a real champion, just someone who forced the best to vacate it so he could snatch it by beating a lesser fighter in the mean time.

2b) Who the f*ck will he fight for the WBO belt then anyway? Parker? Who Joshua already beat easily? No one will give a sh*t. No one will see Usyk as a real champion.

So go ahead Usyk, force your shot, and win your worthless belt because you'll only be seen as holding it for, probably, Tyson Fury, or maybe AJ.

What would be better? - Usyk speaks to AJ and Fury, agrees to step aside, let the 2 fights happen, and whoever wins agrees they MUST fight Usyk.

In the mean time, let Usyk fight someone else and prove himself worthy of his shot.

Whooping Witherspoon and Chisora proves nothing.

Best solution is for Joshua-Fury to take place early as viable for all belts. Winner unifies all 4 and can be recognized historically for that ... then drops whatever belts need be ... leading into the second fight.

Usyk fights Parker or whoever for the WBO ... and the AJ-Fury second fight winner comes back for that belt down the track.

Thinking about it, I suppose Usyk vs Parker would be interesting, and it would line up a good fight for after AJ V FURY 2.

I haven't seen a heavyweight champion of the world sacrifice a belt since Hector was a pup.

They don't say its a progression path undisputed. The WBO helps people to become undisputed by taking other belts off the champs

I’d say Usyk v Parker for the vacant WBO title in 2021 is 100% certain
