Will AJ have to sacrifice his WBO belt?

It's not just about suiting another fighter though, is it?

This is what the entire boxing world wants. And it's not just the fact that it's the first undisputed scenario for a long time, it's the fact that this will be the biggest boxing event for decades.

 

Usyk has got a family? So what? Are they starving, and the WBO belt is all that will feed them?

Joshua vs Fury for undisputed is 99% of people's first choice, Usyk hasn't done **** at heavyweight. He should earn his shot.

I think he should fight whoever is closest rank to him in WBO, and then prove he's actually the best in the WBO rankings.

 

What I'm saying is Usyk's family has nothing to do with this. How is Usyk fighting for his family? They're not exactly starving, are they?

And this isn't a regular scenario, this is a potentially once in a lifestyle situation. We may never get this sort of chance again in boxing.

Fury vs Joshua has to happen ASAP or else it risks not happening at all or happening when it matters less.

This could be the biggest event in boxing history for a long time now, and certainly in PPV history.

It;s not just for the fans, it's for all of boxing. If Usyk is that good, he'll get his shot eventually, and like I said, hopefully Joshua/Fury can persuade him to fight the winner of their 2 fights. This way he'll have a chance at being undisputed himself.

I cannot think of a single better reason for Joshua to skip Usyk. People are making it out like AJ is scared or not honourable, but he's doing it to make a much more important fight happen!

Good fighters want the best fights.

 

That will be very interesting. I see Parker catching Usyk at some point. Both great boxers.

If Usyk dominates Parker it will send a massive message.

 

I don't understand people who are that confident in Usyk yet. Let him fight someone at this level first guys!

I would prefer the AJ/FURY fight was undisputed, but if not, then Usyk vs Parker for the WBO would be interesting.

Agreed. I think Usyk will probably win, but Usyk still has it all to prove.

Usyk needs to win comfortably to back up the claims others are making about him imo.
