Will AJ vs Wilder be a bigger PPV than Tank v Garcia?

Davis-Garcia did 1.2 million ppv sales, not too shabby at all. A few years back when they had their belts AJ vs Wilder could have been one of the biggest boxing PPVs ever but how well does a fight now between them do with losses and some luster gone?

It is not a 1:1 comparison. Even if they sold 2 million , Brit PPPV at £2o does not equal to 1 million US PPV at $89.

They will do great numbers but its not beating Davis /Garcia

    I really hope not.

That would be quite embarrassing if the American market doesn't embrace Wilder v Joshua

We might as well start calling the MSG, the Mecca of YouTube Boxing at that point

Are you implying it won't do that well in the US though? Wilder is American of course.

Not in the United States. No way, no how.

It will do 500k buys MAX in America.

Wilder-Joshua will definitely not match Davis-Garcia in the US

Davis is a bigger draw than Wilder, and Joshua is neither well known nor highly regarded in the US.

However, the fight is MUCH bigger internationally.

Is Davis really the bigger star? Because if you look at their PPV numbers and TV ratings, then Wilder is clearly ahead.
There could have happened a shift now, but I doubt it.
