You're comparing two back to back KOs vs an off night which was avenged, albeit in a boring fashion. Joshua can hit harder than Fury, and if Fury had Wilder on the canvas AJ can do the same.

If they age him anymore he'll turn to dust during the ring walks.

Wouldn't it be great if a young Mike Tyson-esque fighter came on the scene and destroyed these old pussies

    Nelson is a peanut

If the Saudi's want it and have the money for it ($100m) then they will make it happen

The Saudi's are after two men only right now though and their names are Tyson Luke Fury and Oleksandr Oleksandrovych Usyk and that will cost them $150m. They aren't blowing $250m for a single event and they arn't putting a bodybuilder and a crack demon above Fury & Alex.

Wilder knocks Joshua out inside three rounds, instead of going back and forth now we will come back to this post to see who was correct in there assumption .

AJ stops Wilder late. Hopefully we actually see this fight, and I look forward to being proved right or wrong.

It’s off, move on, we’ve seen this fight tried to be made several times 5 or 6 years ago and what happened? Same again, Wilder v Drummer boy Molina II will be good

A Wilder vs AJ fight is something that has been talked about a lot recently.

With the state of boxing as it is, doesn't that mean that the fight is guaranteed not to happen?

He may box like a toddler but will land his right hand on AJ and he's good at finishing. Also he trains hard so inactivity doesn't mean that much, and besides it's not like he needs to keep his superior boxing ability sharp, lol. But yes, he needs a fight asap. Even Fury learned that you don't try to outbox Wilder but have to go after him and put him on the back foot. AJ had that style before Wlad, but especially after the Ruiz fights, he wants to be more of a finesse boxer with power.

Fury has superior legs, defense, and feints to AJ, and he got caught repeatedly in that 3rd fight, some of these were painful too, as he was slow to get up but his amazing will and self belief got him through, many other HW's would've called it a day at that point. If AJ gets dropped his mentality gets shot and also, not to mention that his bulk, thick legs and muscles makes it harder to recover, he needs time to get his feet under him.

Just an awful match up for this version of AJ.

AJ and his new trainer have put themselves into a weird position where he's trying to learn to be a superior boxer the only problem is that you have to tailor that to the top fighters you are trying to beat, Usyk, Wilder, Fury. He already lost to Usyk and is never going to outbox him, he's also never going to outbox Fury. It's also not a good strategy against Wilder, but not impossible, just very unlikely he doesn't get caught over 12 rounds. They should've been flexible and fine tuned his aggressive style, and also work on boxing. Different strategies for diff fighters, you outbox someone like Ruiz, and fight and try to bully Wilder. This is boxing IQ, recognizing the situation and showing versatility.

Anyone who believes Wilder will leave US to fight Joshua or anyone with pulse is delusional .

I'm not exactly keen on Wilder either.

But that fight, as many are saying, has been marinating for far too long. That match up is far from its peak from ~5 years ago, but it should still happen. Wilder has done little since Fury II & III. Ruiz has done little lately. At least Usyk is facing DD. AJ is rebuilding vs. Franklin & Helenius :shakehead: Sooner than later Wilder-AJ should be made. I'm not sure who was the bigger problem many years ago. But it's looking like AJ might be the problem if this fight doesn't get made soon. Get on with it !

Wilder has one win in four years...a dodgy one against Sugar Bob Helenius. It has nothing to do with Wilder having more opportunities, because he won't be taking those, either.
