You can bet your money that there is somebody out there who maybe has n't even turned pro yet but I'm sure the USA will produce more.

No offense to Rocky Marciano, but yeah, Wilder would've knocked him out.

What other American heavyweight can you name right now with a belt and a record like that? He's a champion and it's the truth.

Yes, but if by "true" you mean " lineal" then no.

Lineal or not he's the champion right now. Any other heavyweight fighter that has a problem with that should fight him. Next.

Tyson Fury is the recognized champion.. He earned that right when beating Wladimir Klitschko. The rest of the crew are just fragment title holders.. If Wilder beats Fury, THEN you can call him "the champ."

Sounds like a challenge Wilder would probably accept...except Fury has problems with doping accusations at the mmoment I'm typing this. So whenever that's cleared up that fight can happen. Now go get me a sandwich and sit down.

The chances are great that an American can become a great heavyweight champion in the future. Don't sell Deontay Wilder short when it comes to assessing his chances to become great in the future. While admittedly awkward, Wilder seems to have desire, dedication, size, punching power, stamina and a good idea of what works for him. Moreover, Wilder is one of the few current heavyweights that I like to see in action.

Well written. Now, might as well scratch your signature out because that's pretty much what I was trying to say the whole time. Then I can stamp my name on your commentary and put out a best selling book. :think

Yeah, Rocky was around before there were athletes. Cute little story, tho. Reminds me of Rudy.

If Bowe counts as great, Wilder is only one two good wins away from that tier.

Athletes ARE overachievers. They had to work for it...kinda.

Whoever it is, if he fights like Tyson or Dempsey and destroys competition he'll become a billionaire with ease.
