So hand speed and pitty patter punches are all that's needed to be an olympian?

There are countries where Olympians get executed for coming home with anything other than a Gold Medal.

Ive never known a SILVER medal get mentioned so much with a fighter

Fred Evans was also a young brit who won Silver. in a home Olympics... and no one knows who he is , he didn;t get no parade when he got home or big sponsorship deals... he just went into total obscurity. ...

    Very true.

Degale got an extremely underwhelming reception and he came away with a gold.

As for the question in hand....no Khan will never be a champion again, his career is smoke and mirrors and he's lost every time he's stepped up.

He was never a champion to begin with, he held a trinket belt from the weakest title holder in the division.

I thought Kotelnik was very good boxer. First to beat Maidana too.

lol I thought Kotelnik was one of the weakest world champs I've ever seen. Very limited and average, feather fisted. Lost and drew with Mbaye, lost to Witter, had a very close fight with Rees. Maidana was green and not the fight he later became when Kotelnik fought him. Kotelnik was a Euro level fighter who got lucky in the very weak 140 division which had a constant pass the parcel of weak world champions around that time.

Back on topic. Khan is a quality fighter and I think some people are doing him an injustice by suggesting that he hasn't earned his successes, despite him having a jaw made of biscuit.

Can you believe people thought he'd have a chance against Floyd?

    Completely different levels.

It was more a case of his speed causing Floyd problems than anything.

Other than that, Khan has nothing to offer.
