I 100% agree with what you just said. My post was more for all the delusional Sonnen fan that think the sub was lucky and that now Silva is afraid of fighting Sonnen again.

Ok let me put it to you like this , look down the list of top level fighters Silva has fought and decisively finished , without , to my knowledge ever losing a round (round 1 Henderson is debatable) , putting aside Maia , Leites and Cote , this list is pretty scary and definitive

Sonnen going into this fight , certainly by myself and im assuming most others , wasnt given a prayer , a bit like Frankie against BJ yes ???

And he secures the first 4 rounds with little to think about from the best fighter on the planet , thats pretty huge , agree'd ???

On the GnP issue (Sonnen lacking power) its very difficuilt to cunjure up one punch KO power from mount or top position unless you create an opening which allows a run up (so to speak) to generate that little bit more power in an attempt to finish / hurt an opponent

Specially when its a wrestlers instinct to control before striking , added to that if he allows Silva to his feet , whats gonna happen ??? , if he stays busy on top but not overly busy to lose position he wont be stood up , or in theory he may not be sweeped , BUT !!! , he may be submitted , and when your submission defence is poor (evidently) and your fighting a long limmed black belt ...............................................
