and duck fighting the winner of Kovalev v Stevenson just like Roy Jones did 19 years ago when he watched Benn and McClellan kick the **** out of each other only for Jones to duck the winner? :think

    Most definately.

The mere whispers of it has Ward talking about an early retirement

It helps that Kovalev-Stevenson will happen in North America, which is where Ward fights. More pressure.

I favour Ward over anyone under 190 (only slightly over these guys) but he will fight were the most money is at. I think Froch, GG, GGG and Jr bring in more coin so we may have to wait until he runs through a couple of those guys first and when his body matures into a 175lber

He didnt fight Bute when Bute was considered his biggest threat and an undefeated world champ. Dawson came down in weight, so I dont think he will fight those fighters

    Whos team unelite?

No you are trying to say something to the mighty Headbanger without trying to be clear, with what you are saying.
Otherwise you would have posted what you think is wrong with the sentence.

There is no SMW division in the Olympics. LHW is from 165 up. He weighed well under the LHW limit.

If Andre Ward wants to get big fights, and not spend his career fighting B-Level fighters such as Rodriguez like Jones did, here are some things he needs to do:

    1. Leave Jokeland once in a while.

    2. Accept that he's not the money generating fighter in fights against the likes of GGG, Froch, Stevenson, Kovalev, etc, and stop believing he deserves an 80/20 split

    3. Be prepared to leave 168 and not expect fighters to move down and fight him like his last two opponents have done, and like he's not prepared to do for the likes of Golovkin and Martinez.

    4. Accept it when opponents demand he undergo drug testing.

    5. Develop a personality.

Prime Dariusz Michaelczewski would've shattered that glass-jaw to pieces long before Antonio Tarver did.

Today's HW division is too strong, there is no Champion John Ruiz for him to prey on.

Ward is not even a LHW. Honestly though, what is the point of even taking these hard fights unless a ton of money is involved? Ward has taken on a lot of good fighters and beaten them convincingly. He still gets a lot of crap. Meanwhile, a guy like Kovalev receives nowhere near the crticism despite beating nothing but B and C level fighters. Ward might as well beat up a bunch of cans and then take on a good fighter every now and then.
