Roy Jones talked up a fight with benn and mcclellan, watched them nearly kill each other and then cowardly ducked out of fighting the winner, conveniently hiding behind don king. Jones wanted nothing to do with fighting big punchers, he knew that under his steroid riddled body he was the owner of one of the worst glass jaws in all of boxing.

He will 'offer' to fight them, but terms of the none negotiable contract will be:

    1. Fight must take place in Oakland
    2. 85/15 split in my favor of everything
    3. You must come down to Super Middleweight
    4. No drug testing

When they don't agree to them ridiculous terms Ward will claim he ducked them- and he's that deluded he will probably believe it

I think Ward will even duck commentating on the Kovalev-Stevenson fight or he going to be quacking live on HBO.

I bet that will look awesome on his resume when he finally gets around to looking for an actual job. Using you and your ESB credentials as a reference will be even better!!

So who was Bernard when Roy fought him? He was a fighter who hadnt won a world title, had lost his debut and who didnt win a world title in his next attempt. Do you think Bernard of today would have lost to the fighter that Jones beat then, even at this advanced age?
As for Toney, how many SDs had he had? He hadnt beaten any top SMWs, had drawn with Williams and some felt he was lucky against Tiberi

He already has a very well paid job earning millions, he wont be looking for another.
Dont be bitter because I threw your application in the bin. You just didnt have the credentials

Bernard was a very good fighter when Roy beat him, rated higher by the IBF, in his physical prime, and could fight for 12 rounds without cheating to look for a rest.. I have no idea how old Bernard would look against him...

It was a great win for Roy considering what Bernard would go on to do at the weight, Roy beat Bernard clearly, it was a long long time before he was clearly beaten again.

Toney, like it or not was a proven undefeated fighter that had beat elite competition and considered one of the best alive, Roy was an underdog moving up in weight to fight, and it was considered a huge test for Roy. That was a great win, one of the most dominating performances against such a highly skilled fighter I have seen.

Who was Hopkins when Jones fought him :think the number 1 middle weight ranked by the IBF ..And that same Bernard who always had issues with pure boxers so yes no matter the Hopkins he always loses to that Jones how long did he go with out a loss after that fight with Jones ? Nearly a decade but he was a nobody when Jones toyed with him.,Stop it !

And Toney was not only undefeated but James had already held wins over Mike McCallum and. Micahel Nunn before losing to Jones while being ranked in the top 5 p4p a guy who neither Benn or Eubank wanted any part of !

Give it a rest already !
