Andre Ward is currently the most-noted, unbeaten American fighter (not counting Floyd Mayweather, Jr., who was recently dropped from several pound-for-pound lists due to inactivity. There are doubts about whether or nor Mayweather will ever fight again) in boxing. However, some feel that with his somewhat-crowd unfriendly mauling style, and his relatively light punching power, Ward will never become much of an attraction, even if he maintains his unblemished record. What do you think? Answer the poll and leave your comments below.
I favor Ward over both Froch and Bute. But, we'll see. I wouldn't be surprised, on the other hand, if Ward is beaten by either.
Dunno man Froch made Wards performance against Abraham look sloppy as hell...if AA had tried charging in on Froch like he did against Ward he would have got his head taken off with uppercuts. I pick Ward over Bute, but I think Froch murks both of em
:rofl:rofl:rofli like that. while i think ward will win, Froch is very underrated. he finds a way to enforce his will one way or another. after seeing abraham catch ward with a few shots, ward vs froch/johnson just got a whole more interesting.
Didn't work against Kessler. Was 14 seconds from failure against a shot-to-**** Taylor. May have had the benefit of homeground advantage against Dirrell. I like Froch, and I think he is improving with each fight. But right now I am far from convinced that he is the best that the division has to offer.
He beat Kessler imo and didnt need to fight in his backyard with his uncle refereeing or headbutt him in the eye repeatedly to do it either Billygoat Ward will get exposed very soon mark my words
his last fight was f'n free and I f'n hated it. been to his fight against allan green. paid 175 bucks for a shitty fight. No f'n THANKS!!
it was a present from my ex roommate. I told her I had fun but dude, it was such a shitty fight to watch live. the whole crowd was rooting but they wanted to see a KO. The only KO that night was the swing bout with Willie Nelson (black boxer from Ohio)
No.atsch I am betting his glass jaw will shatter before he makes it into PPV Draw.:rofl + the guy is boring I am seeing froch beating Andre.
Hes technically excellent, but not particularly exciting - a little like Floyd you could say. But what he doesn't have going for him is a controversial personality. He is too boring out of the ring to draw ppv buys.
