Nah....the only real test at LHW worth making the jump and taking on the risk would be the best LHW which is the man he just dominated at 168.....Chad. other than that he should stick to his division where he's holding it down. No one is better than Ward at 168....at 175 Dawson might just be a different fighter than what we saw at 168. Cleverly wouldn't beat Chad, that's for sure.

Bailey there was a time where I thought you were a very knowledgeable poster
Then you went down in my estimation as a Calzaghe fanatic
But honestly now? Ward ducking Nathan Cleverly? come on now.

Cleverly is the Canelo of 175, apart from Bellew and Murat he aint dont ****

Tony is a great fighter and Jones had a LHW title run in an era where he didnt fight Michalczewski, Rocchigiani, Erdei, Maske, Nunn or Tiozzo. Tony would very possibly have clipped that chin like Del Valle and then would have followed up

Del Valle was busy drinking it up with his Bronx buddies celebrating his big paycheck and his big opportunity. Of course he pissed that away just like Luis collazo who frequented the club scene, a week before his fight with Ricky I saw him at a midtown hot spot pissy drunk with his boys in VIP holding a bottle of ace of spades.

We can all go to highlights, but tell me have you seen Cleverly as hurt as Ward was against Kost? Or ever gone down like Ward did against Boone? The answert to both of those is a big NO. So be careful of this highlight exercise because it can only lead to further schooling for you, if I were to bother to search for those videos :tong

Did Dawson not drop to make SMW?
What has Adonis or either Dirrell brother done at SMW?
Cleverly is an undefeated world champ and Ward hasnt fought one of those and Ward was a LHW amateur.
I can see the fear in your post at the thought of Ward having to face a young hungry champ in Nathan

:patsch What like Dawson who was apperently troubled by Miranda in sparring who Cleverly victim Bellew dispatched, or Cloud who looked to have been outboxed by Campillo who lost to Murat who Cleverly took the 0 of.
which LHWs are you reffering to? I bet you duck this question.
Consider even that Shumenov lost to Campillo who lost to Murat who Cleverly took the 0 of.

Good lord thats several of the top LHWs.
Looks like Nathan is closing in

Come on Bailey you know as well as I do that the A beats B beats because A beat C who beat B logic doesn't work in boxing.

Froch and Hopkins supposedly turned down fights with Clev, perhaps he's too high risk low reward? His win over Bellew will become a great win over time, as Tony Bellew is also going places.
