it was just a thought. sometimes this affects a fighter and they end up not fighting with their head and end of pay a price for it. usually cotto is emotionless but i think you can clearly see his anger and resentment on 24/7. i know some fighters are able to chanel that anger in a positive way. i just hope cotto doesn't let his feelings get the best of him and sticks to his game plans.

I don't see it. Cotto is a cool customer. He will box and i see him beating Marg fairly easily this time. And oh yeah, you bought into the 24/7 hype. They got you sucka.

This ain't the Karate Kid here, this is a real life boxing match. Anger helps a fighter more than you think because they fight back with real passion.

Oh, and I suppose a young Tyson and a young Foreman suffered greatly due to their furiously angry styles. They suffered so much they both became heavyweight champs from it.

well it depends on the fighter. each fighter is different. it's like some fighter need a coach who will boost their confidence while some need a hardass. i'm just saying you can't generalize.

And you know who benefitted from fighting angry in the Leonard - Duran fight? DURAN.... get in the ring for yourself dumb dumb and see if attacking a man with bad intentions is really all that detrimental to your fight plan. I think you'll see all that not fighitng angry crap you get from kung-fu movies is really a bunch of bull.

While Ray lost, it was still a close but clear decision for Roberto. Really Ray didn't necessarily fight the wrong fight, he was the bigger man, and much more of a "fighter/puncher" than people give him credit. It's just Roberto was just that much of a beast. I see your point here, but it's completely different.

I will not be surprised if Margarito beats Cotto again.......................it will be Margarito's punches that will do Cotto in, not anything else..........

Cotto can be as angry as he wants... Margarito is gonna steamroll him.
Look for Miguel to take a knee when it starts getting rough in there.

All this bitching on the 24/7 series is pissing not only the fans off, But Tony aswell.
(Margarito may not have that "One Punch" power but I feel sorry for MC after about 1000)

if Cotto fights angry he will get steamrolled even faster by Margo. I don't think he has developped the power to hurt Margo since the 1st fight. If he trades with Margerito it's over for him, he doesn't have the stamina and the chin to support that fighting style

The only way I see Cotto winning is to stick and move his way to a decision, which implies keeping his composure. But even so I think Margerito will slowly but surely cut off the ring, corner him and unload his hooks and uppercuts. Like in the 1st fight
