If he wasn't gifted gold in the Olympics he wouldn't be as hyped as he is today... Doesn't seem like he's anything special.. Just the usual brit hype...

He's had less than one round in the pro-ring. It's too early to tell anything about what he might be capable of. My gut feeling is that he might be able to accomplish something significant in the division in the future but I would not be able to back that up at all since he's not been in the pro-ring long enough and not fought anyone significant yet.

having said that hes setting the bar high with all this carpe diem stuff. a lower key venue might have been better to serve his progress, because if/when he falls, he may fall like khan.

    good luck to him though.

I actually like him, hes confident, slightly brash and of course young but not arrogant (yet).

I think that was the point. A sarcastic jab at all those people who had been saying Price was going to be the next dominant force in boxing, and, of course, at the over-hyping of British fighters by British fans.

Why do people always lie about this? He started at 18 in 2007 that's 5 years the same length of time Medzhidov, the guy who beat him at the 2011 WC, had been boxing.
