Will Antony Joshua end up a bigger cash cow then Mayweather?

Floyd had Oscar, Pacquiao, Alvarez, Cotto, Manny and McGregor who helped him to get to the 1billion mark.

Joshua had Wlad and now he has Parker, Wilder and the winner of Usyk vs Murat. Not much there to be honest.

But time will tell.

 

I really couldn't give a monkeys what other people get paid. I am a boxing fan and just want to see boxing.

Joshua seems up for facing the best and creating great shows (obviously with a big cash reward for doing so). I don't really care what he gets paid or what his ppv figures are.

 

Mayweather Berto still made more money than Joshua Klischko.Joshua and Hearn could only dream of that type of money.Remember 400K US PPV Buys requires 1.5 Million Uk PPV Buys because of the difference in Pricing.This is even before the difference in Vegas and Wembley Gates

 

He's got Wilder and he's making full use of it,by delaying the fight until it's massive.

 

he might come close to equal to be honest won't pass him though... I am a parker fan.. but I don't see anyone beating Joshua until 2020 or 2021 at the earliest...

 

Can't see AJ being in the game long enough,not at the very top anyway, to topple Floyd's earnings.

 

You need to fight people with a large following. How many Fighters has Joshua faced with a significant following? Only Wlad. And you need to stir up some controversy as well, be hated in some way.

 

Maybe the Joshua instagram posts was a start to becoming that type of figure ??

 

Errrr no, I can't see a time when Joshua is being paid 9 figure purse, but assuming he keeps winning then Joshua will earn a hell of a lot of money, purses, endorsements, advertising and all sorts.

Joshua is already a very wealthy man and will continue to earn large amounts for the time being.

But I will predict in 10-15 years he will have more money than Mayweather, Mayweather is going the Michael Jackson route (not kids LOL) with the over extravagance and sooner or later that money melts away.

 

Floyd has got like 500M in the Bank,half the stuff like trips he does he probably gets invited so it's for free.Mayweather is sorted for life

 

Yeah Mayweather is wealthy, no question.

Michael Jackson was wealthier and still ended up practically skint, it happens when you waste/spend money in large amounts on unnecessary things.

Others have done very large amounts of money, Mike Tyson for example ended up bankrupt, Holyfield the same, huge names, huge amounts of money.

Mayweather lives a far more extravagant lifestyle than those two. That sort of lifestyle becomes an addiction.

 

Mayweather could easily come back again if he's low on funds.Millions will still buy it on PPV.Mayweather/Mcgregor 2 will still do 2Million PPV Buys minimum
