Im a big Egorov fan but he got worked over by Levit who won convincingly. Mytrofanov, Ganzulya, Nistor, Emigdio would make great pros too.

 

He got worked over because he gased after about two rounds. I love the WSB but you have to agree its got some of the worst judging you have ever seen?

 

For sure but that fight wasn't an example of it although it was much more competitive than the horrible British announcer would have led you to believe. Not only wasn't he giving credit to good work that Egorov was doing but he was criticising him for things he was actually doing well, he definitely gassed though. The announcers are the worst thing about it tbh the bad judging isn't any more frequent than in pro boxing.

I was a big fan of Levit and was always impressed with him when he was Kazakhstans #1 HW in 2009-2011 but he seemed to disappear for a couple years. Its nice to see him in WSB especially how well he's doing the Abdullaev fight was great too.

 

Agree about the commentators there terrible theres only one commentator on it that will ever question the judges decisions. The judging in Argentina on it is probably the worst iv ever seen, if it were pro boxing there would be an inquest its that bad. Also Teymur Mammadov is now competing at 81kg, does anyone know how the hell he was able to get down to that weight, his nearly 6'6 and even looked big for 91kg. Never really warmed to him as a fighter as he gets so many gifts off the judges but he is really going to take some stopping at 81kg

The worst boxing commentary I've ever heard has been this WSB season. They seem to hire random people with absolutely no understanding of boxing whatsoever.

Watched the fight again there, very close ,if you listen to the commentator and the crowd you would think Egorov was beening massacred . I taught it was a 48-47 decision that could have gone either way looking back at it. They need to get better commentators though, they make the sky sports team look like gods
