Will anyone ever beat this guy convincingly enough that he doesn't have room to gripe about the decision?
Either of the Klit bro's or maybe Haye could prob spark him... (Throw Tua into the mix again, why not)
Frankly if he keeps coming in shape he will continue to stick around. Good on him for that but id rather he just go away.
I don't see any decent HWs around, Ruiz in his prime was never special, but it goes to show how shitty the HWs are today, Ruiz in his mid to late 30s is a top 8 guy, maybe better since it looks like he was robbed both times against Valuev.
he is like a cockaroch you cant kill him you can cut his head off (RJJ) he wont leave you can smash him (tua) he wont leave
There are decent enough guys around. Wlad, Vitali, and Peter would all destroy him. Probably Arreola too. Chagaev, Ibragimov, Sergei, and quite a few others would also beat him Oh, and Ruiz is certainly not "top 8" - at best, he's borderline top 15. He was not "robbed" against Valuev, but rather justifiably lost two close decisions, the second one quite clearly, actually.
Zackman have over 23,000 post ans maybe 20,000 of them are anti Ruiz post.lol Just post a thread about Ruiz and Kakman quickly comes to the kill lol.
The fact he does hang around and is pretty competitive certainly shows something, though, eh? Apart from the "hugging" part, he is an overachiever who works hard, I respect the guy. CAN'T like his style, but still I respect him.
Apart from the hugging???? Ruiz without the excessive holding would have been lucky to have been a regional HW champ. King's influence got him a free pass for his illegal tactics. If the rules had been properly enforced against Ruiz, he never would have won a single fight at the world class level.
