I don't think he will fade into oblivion. You could see last night how much he wanted it and how upset he was when he got pulled out. Plus he looked better in losing to Vitali than anyone has since Lewis beat him. Think he still has a big future, maybe a fight against Eddie Chambers (after he fights Vlad) might be a logical fight next?

These people clearly haven't been watching boxing any longer than about 4 weeks.

Anyone who didn't know what you meant when they saw the word bolivian in the thread title has to be a kid. Maybe they just don't know history but to me he was only behind Ali as one of the most exciting HW of all time.

Yeah, I am actually quite shocked the amount of people not getting the bolivian reference.

how on earth does that improve him as a fighter? you're basically luring him into a false sense of security.

'look chris, you've still got it!'

before he's fed again as a sacrifical lamb in another epic mismatch in which once more he gets mashed.

first and foremost he needs to start developing some actual skills in the ring. he looked completely and utterly clueless in there. was there any gameplan? or was he just going in and hoping for the best? sorry, not good enough at this level. lose some weight, learn some of the finer points and skills of the sport or **** off and stop wasting our time. simple as.....

That's how I read it straight away, he doesn't have the physique of someone on the old marching powder.... ;)

It could go two ways. He could learn from this fight that to compete at the top he needs to be in a lot better condition and needs to take his training a hell of a lot more seriously, maybe change trainers and get better dietary/nutritional advice, or he could sit back on his takings and slide into also-ran territory. I didn't see the fight but it sounds like he showed a lot of heart, so hopefully he will go with the former choice.

lets hope we never see him again in a titlefight.. i cant understand why he and many more fat boxers can't keep themselves in shape.. i hate vitaly and his ugly way of winning but he always comes in shape and to be honest i wouldnt like having a fat ass beat him for the title..

Time will tell. There isn't any shame in losing to a Klitschko. Amongst the non-Klitschko's of the heavy wt. division, I'm sure he can compete well. Heck, if he piles up a few more wins he could face the more tactical, careful Wlad.
