Will Artur Beterbiev retire undefeated like Khabib and go down as one of the GOATs ?

I think Beterbiev has a chance at beating Bivol and perhaps retire unbeaten. He will most certainly be compared to the boxing version of Khabib.

A lock for HOF but GOAT at 175 is stretching. There's lots of greater LHWs who have done more and beaten better fighters than Beterbiev.

Yeah, but everyone would say that if he beats Usyk at CW (which is realistic, as Turki said)

He's said in interviews many times he feels motivated and healthy enough to continue, in other interviews he's simply said "let's see" in response to "are you done with boxing after this fight?"

In my opinion, I think he should retire after 1/2 more fights after Bivol (whether that be a move up to CW or defense of the undisputed belts against Benavidez). He's 40 years old, it's only a decline from this point, I'd move very carefully if I was Artur.

He has the fights available to do it.

    Bivol, Canelo, Opetai, Usyk.

If he knocks those 4 out then yeah.

You don't have to be undefeated to be a so called GOAT... too much emphasis on losses.. if he beats Bivol at nearly 40 & becomes undisputed hes already one of the ATGs at LHW... even if he loses in his 40s afterwards so what? What fighter hasn't?

If he beats Bivol and then Opetai, then i would rank him as an all time p4p guy. Top 50.

I really hope so. Undisputed, undefeated, 100% Kayo ratio in a historic division is absolutely insane.

Needs a couple more good wins in his division after if he beats Bivol, eg - Canelo, winner of Benavidez/Morrell, maybe Buatsi. Or become champ in cruiserweight.

It is simply not on the cards for Artur to become the 175 lbs goat. He would need a Moore level opponent and beat them 3 times. Even then his resume wouldn't have the depth that Charles' has.

Not close to the GOAT no but I think he may sneak into the top 10 Light Heavyweights of all time.
