Will Arum ever again match one of his fighters with a fighter from another promoter?

Another fighter that can actually win? No doubt he will match one of his against an overmatched fighter, but will he ever again match one of his guys with another promoter knowing his fighter might struggle?

Did Mosley pushing Margarito's **** in basically turn Top Rank from ever matching one of their guys tough outside of its own stable?

You think Arum would do it? He's talking Margarito now.

It will happen but only in cases in which the Top Rank fighter enjoys heavy advantages. Manfredo for instance was a DiBella fighter, Rafael Marquez was with Shaw when he fought JuanMa, and DPDL was with Golden Boy for the Gamboa fight. I doubt you'll see this happen very frequently on anything approaching even terms. I guess he might make Canelo-Chavez, but even in that case Chavez will enjoy a weight advantage weight advantage.

You think Chavej jr would win? I think it's an interesting matchup, would definately be entertaining.

Not sure if he'd win, but it would be at a weight that he's more comfortable at. The only reason this fight is even being discussed at all now is because Sulaiman has indicated that Chavez is going to have to fight one of his mandatories very soon, and given the fact that both Martinez and Rubio beat him with ease, Arum would rather vacate the belt to avoid those fights. Canelo might beat him, but he brings loads more money to the table; if Chavez is going to take a loss, he may as well maximize his income.

Pretty sure Top Rank already dumped Cintron and they had nothing to do with the promotion of Gomez-Alvarez.

yeah...Cintron's not on their list anymore.

gomez against alvarez was probly in exchange for ponce de leon against gamboa.

I don't even know about that. Gamboa-PDL was an actual co-promoted event; Gomez on the other hand simply got permission to take the Alvarez fight. Top Rank probably just got a small fee at best for Gomez in that fight.
