Will Austin Trout get a fair shake against Canelo in Texas

    I almost forgot this fight was being held in Texas. The most corrupt place for horrible boxing decisions in the world. If Sugar Ray Robinson would've fought his sixth bout with Jake Lamotta in Texas hed have been lucky to get a draw. Texas makes Germany look like the bastion of fairness


    So what does Trout have to do to pick up a decision in Texas?

    Trout will stop Saul ... :D

    Not worried about San Antonio as the venue. Trout lives in neighboring state (Las Cruces, New Mexico) and I think he has lots of fans in the area.

    Trout has Al Haymon as his manager.

    I still remember the Golden Boy promoted fight card in San Antonio featuring the main event, Pacquiao vs Barrera 1. I think something similar might happen to Golden Boy Promotions for this Trout-Alvarez fight, their boy losses the fight.

    The three biggest robberies last year were Top Rank events in Vegas, let's be honest you are a Flit fan looking to discredit Canelo's win before it even happens.

    No I know the history, the two biggest robberies so far this year have been Florida and New York, I get tired of the Texas bashing, we show up and people act like we are the only state that will screw you.

    He couldn't stop a somewhat faded Cotto. What makes you think he will stop Canelo - someone who is bigger, stronger, and faster than Cotto? Just curious.

    haymon and trout both knew what they were up against when they called out gbp and canelo.

    my guess is that either gale van hoye, luis rivera or samuel lopez will be a judge.
