I should of said being flabby has not effected his performance, remember he did beat Fury and Williams fair and square except for the officials. Speaking of Williams, whenever he came in really heavy he lost badly. Remember he set a then world record as heaviest man to fight for a world title against Vitali.
mcdermott at 220 could have been a very decent heavyweight and would have won the british title in a clear manner
Johns a fairly talented heavy,Price doesent realy use pace and pressure, but patience and powerpunching,. I THINK JOHN KNOWS HE MUST GO FORWARD AND BE STRONG UP CLOSE, PRICE KNOWS HE MUST BE ACURATE AND NOT GET DRAGGED INTO A WAR.John eats well trains well etc, his metabolic rate wont allow him to lose much weight, he's tried it and was very lethargic and weak at around 15 stone.:good
I'm having a punt on McDermott aswell. I just think if Price doesn't land that big shot everyone is banging on about, he isn't going to have the workrate to beat Big John. Add that to the fact that John has decent power and Price's untested chin, and it's a decent bet IMO. I'm not saying McDermott's the favourite, but I think his chances are better than those odds.
Can't wait for this. Mcbuymeaburger is going to test price. I think he'll have some real nice success early but get squashed in the late rounds.
