Joyce has a really bad habit of getting tagged in the first couple of rounds. I can remember Jennings and stiverne landing.

I see this being an exciting swing up for 3 rounds with Joyce maybe getting wobbled early but then stopping zhang.

 

It's fight week.

He could, absolutely. Zhang can crack and has a knack for stringing together combinations, and he don't throw unless he's pretty sure it'll land. Joyce is a bit slower than Zhang and has a habit of letting himself get punched flush. But then again, Joyce is a pretty smart boxer, so it wouldn't surprise me if that's one of the main things he's been working for this fight. Zhang is probably going to be one of the hardest punchers he's fought, if not the hardest, so I'm expecting him to come in with a somewhat more cautious plan.

I like both guys so I'm gonna be happy no matter who wins, but I'm pulling for Zhang in this one. But what I see happening is him making the first 6-8 rounds competitive and then getting outpointed in the last chunk of the fight because he's run out of gas. Only way I see him winning is if he's able to knock out Joyce or knock him down once or twice, which as I said in another post, is a very tall order when your opponent has never been down as a professional.

 

Joe Joyce can't be rocked can't be stopped dropped popped or knocked.

 

Possible as Zhang hits hard is good on the inside and JJ is not hard to land on. 100% his chin will be tested more than vs Parker.

I don't think there are any boxers on Earth who can knock down our knock out Joyce. He seems unstoppable.

Maybe Mike Tyson could.

 

Zhang was not able to stop Hrgovic. How the heck he's gonna stop Frankenstein Joyce.

 

Hrgo has a better chin than Joyce. Hrgovic has only ever been down vs Zhang. Joyce was stopped multiple times as an amateur (including by Kuzmin and Joshua) and was hurt by Usyk in a pro-style competition.

 

I expect Joyce to stop Zhang mid to late, but Zhang for the first few rounds before his body starts shutting down can hurt and drop Joyce who at times leads with his face.

 

Nope. Zhang is overrated imo.
