BJ was an idiot the first fight. His team was telling him to take it to the ground but he was too hard-headed. reminded me of the Wang fight on tuf

Whoooooaaaa i think bj is just really confident in his ability. But i can see why others would see him as cocky. I love his interview before he fought jens pulver again. He was just so confident and he told joe rogan that his gonna take pulver arm and ripped it off.

Of course it didn't happen but instead he choke out jens and get his revenge.

true i can't believe he didn't go for the takedown when he was clearly getting beat on his feet. Reminds me of frank shamrock-Cung Le fight where shamrock promise he would strike with cung le. Bad decision as he end up getting his ass whoop.

Oh, you mean the fight where he was a **** beyond words? Where he held the choke even after the he tapped and even after the ref tried to pry the choke off the first time? The same thing that Sobral got kicked out of the UFC for? The same ****wad that can't accept a loss without some form of an excuse as to why he lost the fight while giving zero to minimal respect to his opponent?

Oh yeah, great champion. I can see why people are clamoring for him to get an immediate rematch that, quite frankly, he shouldn't have gotten, but I don't want to turn this into a debate about that....though I have a feeling we're going on that tangent the moment I post this, but **** it...respect his fighting ability but everything else...nope.

oh come on it wasn't that bad. Royce gracie has done that too where the opponent was tapping already and held it a lil longer. And what excuse did he have against edgar? I saw that fight and he gave edgar props.

If you're talking about the gsp loss then you should know that it was all over the internet where you can see pictures of his trainer putting vaseline in his body.

Royce Gracie? Really? You're using that? You're reachin'...

Royce was doing that in a time when refs had zero idea about submissions and at UFC 1 a ref even screwed up and almost didn't stop the fight when he should have so it was reasonable to hold position as there was no significant danger to his opponent.

With his fight against Pulver in the Finale, Penn deliberately held a choke until well after he tapped and even after a referee tried to separate them! That by itself has gotten fighters fired from the UFC! Gone! It is indefensable!

And please don't try and do that greasing crap. It's nonsense. I'm not going into it myself as I got banned at Sherdog for calling B.J. a disgrace for the fiasco...particularly something he did a month or two after. Please read John Danaher's letter to the N.S.A.C.

I expect him to. I dont think BJ was at his best for that fight he seemed alittle slower and less mobile and IMO still won. I think he just needs to step it up I didnt get the feeling he wanted it as badly as Edgar did in April.

Yes, easily. BJ was basically just jerking off in the first fight.
