We all know that Robson beat Valdez' ass into oblivion. Valdez got outboxed and outworked and additionally outmuscled. Robson was doing all that against a confirmed PED cheat A-side. Of course the Brazilian didn't get the W on the scorecards as we know old Robert doesn't like when his biggest stars lose fights.

Now the matchmaking is interesting. Top Rank signed Martinez last month and now they give him the Robson fight in January. I know Robson is a Top Rank stablemate but this is very, very odd matchmaking.

You sign a young & undefeated prospect and match him with one of the better guys on your roster who also just beat the crap out of one your best fighters despite getting robbed on the cards. It smells fishy to me. The age of Robson would at least explain why Robert Arum is giving a **** about him. Robson is old, spent a lot of time in the amateur ranks and wasted his pro prime time against low tier competition.

Is Robert Arum really ****ing up Conceicaos career? Robbing him against Valdez is one thing. But imagine old Bob robs the poor guy for the second time and this time he gives the W to some fake prospect with no history and resume. Martinez is pretty average and will go nowhere. He's that kind of guy who'll get violently ko'd at some point in his career.

I hope Robson dominates or puts him to sleep as i smell another robbery.

Yeah I saw the contract situation and figured there were machinations afoot. It's a shame that there are some close fights this weekend and to pick them I was basically looking at the business of it.

We'll see how that philosophy works out.
