Will Bob Mirovic Win The Aussie Title Again?

Col looked great in his last fight....maybe a second wind....did he train for the fight?

I dont know if Bob will get a shot for a while...one would think Sol v Col rematch

 

that won't be possible as bob won't beat any of the top 6/7 guys.

 

i'm not aussie, but mirovic is craizy tough. fought in my hometown of brentford at my leisure centre agaisnt danny williams a few years back gave a strong but losing effort. been a casual fan of his ever since.

hope he does leave the sport with some pride....i.e. a australian belt.

 

his best chance would be to buy it.

Big BoB Mirovic doesn't recieve his fair respects too often. The guys been around since Josey Wales was in nappies (kids... not adult nappies) and never ducked an opponent. He fell short of beating Hoppa on HD1 as he'd been crook as a dog in the days before the bout.

His own record is full of big names, along with his sparring regime. Sparring 50+ rounds with Mike Tyson says plenty.

As an Aussie, there are very few to match his own calibre in the history of Oz H/Ws. Bill Doherty, Bill Lang, Dave Smith, Albert Lloyd, Ron Richards, Col Wilson and Big Bob have each claimed the Oz H/W title on 3 occassions.

Could he win it a forth time. YES. Definately.

 

I am a huge Mirovic fan, so I would love to see him go out with a bang and win the Aussie Title again.

After Wilson puts Whitehead to sleep in Cranbourne next Feb/March, the door will be open for Mirovic. A non-mandatory defence for Wilson.

If big Bob reclaims the title then Australian HW boxing is in even worse shape than I'd
imagined.
He's been a great war horse over a 20 + year career. Done it all , nothing left to prove.
Retirement has got to be his best option.

 

How do you suppose Big Bob has done on the financial side of things? The only reason I ask is that I hope he has invested his money wisely so he can have a comfortable retirement when he does finally hang up the gloves.
