If Wilder can do any kind of body work I think we'll see a much more interesting fight. Of course it's been two or more years of training for Fury and he hasn't done it yet so I'm not getting my hopes too high.
There's something different about Fury for this Wilder bout. He doesn't seem like he's taking this remotely as seriously as the second. But he's up against Wilder, with a complete dunce of a yes man in his corner in Scott. Where's Deas? He's another donkey. Maybe Wilder's deluded mindset will actually help him, but he does seem scarred mentally.
Tyson needs to get those two tits lipo’d off his lower back. He stretched himself out when he blew up to 400
Just adding that variety alone will give Wilder a much better chance at winning. We know he can tag Fury with that right hand. We also know that Fury is really hard to hit clean. So obviously you want to go to the body. Focus on the body in the early rounds and then set up the head shots. Plus, even if Fury blocks a straight right to the body, at least it will stop his momentum.
He clearly still carries excess weight. Dude was 270. No way is that just skin. His arms look fat and so does the rest of his body.
I liked that quick jab to the body he was practicing, it looked like it could come from the same positioning as an overhand right. I don't know anything about mechanics it was just looking that way to me. The question remains if he will actually try that on fight night and if he can get it going without being run over.
I haven’t seen the 2nd fight in a while but if I recall correctly, Wilder was trying to work Fury’s body and looked awful doing it
Wilder might land a body punch or two but he literally doesn't know how to work the body as a fight plan. Nothing has changed or will change, Wilder has to land the big punch and knock him out to win or drop him 3 or 4 times for a split decision win
Wilder will come out and try to do new things and by not having had tune up fights with different opposition and time to adjust to a new trainer. He will have his moments here and there and then eventually he will resort back to what he’s always done. Wilders iq is borderline Forrest Gump and Fury will outsmart him again.
