So am i, but your claim that wilder going down was due to his legs being tangled, when it was clear it was from a body shot...
I said in another thread, i feel like he has not just taken his eye off the ball, he has kicked it out of the stadium. Seems to like becoming a celebrity a little too much for my liking, hope i am wrong though.
He clearly trips over his feet. And clearly gets right back up. It was really no different than Wepner stepping on Ali's foot while simultaneously hitting him with a body shot. In neither case, did the body punch inflict enough pain to cause the person to go down or take a knee. Both were official knockdowns, but with an asterisk. This content is protected
Yep, a real rib-cruncher that had him curled up a ball, unable to stand. Almost Cooney-Lyle-esque. Or was it Roy Jones-Virgil Hill-esque? No, wait, he clearly tripped over his feet and got right up, as the video shows.
And we have another for he tripped over his own feet (LOL). You can even stop the clip and see his feet cross over each other, which causes him to trip. Go ahead. That is the best angle you'll get. It's clear as day. Wilder is working on digging those left hooks to the liver. I don't think that scrawny kid Fury has wacking his belly is going to help.
Yes. Wilder did trip over his feet, again and again.Hence my pointing the fact out earlier. Wilder wont find the space to get to the body, he just hasnt got the footwork to get into positions he needs to fire the KO bodyshot on Fury, the only way it could happen would be if Fury sat on the ropes for long enough for Wilder to set the shot, and that aint happening in this fight or ever IMO. Fury will have Widler where he needs him and where he cant fire back, backfoot and short armed. Fury will have Wilder blinded in the lights with his movement, Wilder will throw the odd hail mary in the first couple of rounds and eventually and as soon as Fury puts it on him, Bambi will slip oin the ice once gain. Maybe to a bodyshot?.... Maybe Wilder will "pop right up"? But the beatdown will continue, with people suggesting issues with his "equilibrium", and Wilder will fold like a paper towel again. Wilder isnt truly mentally prepared for whats coming, or maybe hes just prepping for his beating. Either way, he's done right now.
So, the body shot clearly wasn't the result of a painful punch, but of Wilder tripping over his own feet. And then there was the left bicep injury Wilder had that required surgery afterward, which has been repaired and Wilder is now ripping left hooks with it. Seems like some of the luster is starting to wear off that rematch win. I get the feeling this one is going to be quite different, indeed. 24 days to go.
