Will boxing ever come out of this "weak era"?

    Wooowww,... shows how ppl are always complaining no matter what. Having said that, u cannot deny the fact that back in the 80's boxing was more of a mainstream sport, at least in America (all of it, not just the US) than now. Back then I could ask my grandmother who the HW champ was and she would answer correctly... Now, I can ask my 16 yr old son if he knows who's on top of the HW div or if he knows who the K-bros are and he'll probably ask me if I'm talking about football or politics, closest he would probably come is MMA.
    I don't thinl boxing is ever gonna die, but times r certainly different, and boxing has never had a fierce competitor as a combat sport as it does now with MMA.
